Keyboard shortcuts
Keys do nothing while you are typing in a text field or a dialog is open.
Tools

| I | Eyedropper. After one click you are back on the previous tool. |

Selections

| Ctrl+C | Copy the selected stitches |
| Ctrl+X | Cut the selected stitches |
| Ctrl+V | Paste at the mouse pointer and keep the paste selected |
| Delete | Clear the selected stitches |
| Esc | Drop the selection |
Placing a picture or text

| Arrow keys | Move by one stitch |
| Shift + arrow keys | Move by ten stitches |

| Esc | Back to the dialog |
Files

| Ctrl+S | Save the pattern |
| Ctrl+V | Paste an image from the clipboard while the import dialog is open |
On a Mac, Cmd works wherever Ctrl is listed.
